NEW ORLEANS—Jones Walker LLP is pleased to announce that James C. Percy, Business & Commercial Litigation partner, and F. Rivers Lelong, Jr., Real Estate partner, have been re-elected to the firm’s Board of Directors for a four-year term, commencing January 1, 2014. Jones Walker’s Managing Partner, William H. Hines, thanked outgoing Board of Directors member Robert S. Lazarus for his service.

• James T. "Lee" Birchall, Business & Commercial Transactions, Birmingham
  Mr. Birchall focuses his practice on public finance in Alabama, where he serves as bond counsel to cities and counties and their related entities in tax exempt and taxable debt financings. He also represents cities and counties in economic development transactions.
  

• Louis E. Buatt, Real Estate, New Orleans
  Mr. Buatt's practice focuses principally on regulatory and transactional matters concerning environmental and energy law. Mr. Buatt has represented clients in a variety of matters, including major chemical facilities and refineries concerning complex air regulatory issues; energy companies in enforcement matters related to water discharge issues, water permitting issues, permitting of salt water disposal wells, and defending legacy lawsuits. Mr. Buatt has also provided environmental advice and counsel to clients on matters concerning real estate transactions and other transactions involving the acquisition and divestiture of assets.
  

• Michael B. DePetrillo, Business & Commercial Litigation, New Orleans
  Mr. DePetrillo has a business and commercial litigation practice focused on commercial disputes, real estate litigation, trust and estate litigation, class actions, premises liability, and healthcare law. He has represented multi-national and large corporations, hospitals, small businesses and others in these practice areas.
  

• Remy J. Donnelly, Real Estate, New Orleans
  Mr. Donnelly has a business & commercial transactional practice with a focus on real estate that includes commercial finance transactions, commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, oil and gas transactions and commercial lease transactions for office buildings, shopping centers, ground leases and industrial sites. He represent lenders, owners, landlords, tenants, sellers and purchasers in a wide range of industries, including real estate development, warehousing, oil & gas, river transportation services, manufacturing, banking, health care, utility services and professional services.
  

• Stephen P. Drobny, Business & Commercial Litigation, Miami
  Mr. Drobny represents clients in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings, with an emphasis on representing secured creditors in chapter 11 cases. He also represent these clients, which consist primarily of financial institutions and private equity funds, in complex commercial litigation.  
  

• C. Parker Kilgore, Business & Commercial Litigation, Baton Rouge
  Mr. Kilgore has represented clients in a wide range of litigation matters in state and federal court. His practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation including energy, oil and gas, construction, and personal injury disputes.
  

• Nathan R. List, Corporate & Securities, New Orleans
  Mr. List advises publicly traded companies on SEC reporting and compliance (including reviewing Form 10-Ks, 10-Qs and 8-Ks, proxy statements, and press releases), private equity funds on formation, governance and investment, and private and public companies on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, private and public equity and debt offerings, and general corporate matters. He has represented a broad range of clients in the financial services, health care, real estate, oil and gas, and telecommunications industries.
  

• Michael W. Magner, Business & Commercial Litigation, New Orleans
  Mr. Magner has more than 30 years of experience litigating criminal and complex civil matters, including more than 40 jury trials. He provides preventive and litigation services for businesses and individuals in corporate and white collar criminal matters. He also represents individuals and companies in connection with grand jury and other investigations. Mr. Magner's particular experience is in anti-corruption compliance and litigation matters on both a domestic and international level.
  

• Mark A. Mintz, Business & Commercial Litigation, New Orleans
  Mr. Mintz’s practice focuses on a wide range of creditor and debtor rights, especially in the bankruptcy context. He regularly represents secured and unsecured creditors in all types of bankruptcy cases. He has been retained by banks, international manufacturers, and utilities, as well as the maritime and oil and gas-related industries. Mr. Mintz has also represented bankruptcy trustees in both Chapter 7s and 11s.
  

• Christopher S. Pace, Business & Commercial Transactions, Jackson
  Mr. Pace concentrates his practice in the areas of project finance and economic development law, state and local government law, economic development incentives and gaming law. His clients include both county and municipal governmental bodies, as well as new and expanding business concerns. In connection with the firm's gaming practice, Mr. Pace represents both domestic and international clients, including casino owners and operators, gaming equipment manufacturers and distributors, as well as investors, investment banks, and other financial institutions involved in the gaming industry.
  

• Amanda S. Wells, Real Estate, Baton Rouge
  Ms. Wells focuses her practice primarily on real estate financing. Following the destruction of much of South Louisiana from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, she worked closely with a diverse group of clients developing multi-family housing projects. Ms. Wells successfully closed more than a half billion dollars in loans for more than 36 projects in devastated areas of the state. Ms. Wells is also engaged in drafting land use restrictions and creating blueprints for new developments throughout the state. As part of her practice she focuses on negotiating loan documents, bank financing, and refinancing transactions.
  

• B. Trevor Wilson, Tax & Estates, Baton Rouge
  Mr. Wilson is a licensed CPA and focuses his practice on federal taxation, both domestic and international aspects, as well as state and local taxation, estate planning and the administration of successions. He is involved in the structuring of business activities for nonprofit and for-profit organizations, including executive compensation and employee benefits.
  

• Benjamin P. Woodruff, Business & Commercial Transactions, New Orleans
  Mr. Woodruff's practice is predominantly focused on business organizations, commercial lending, and financial transactions. He has experience representing borrowers and commercial banks in connection with a wide variety of commercial lending transactions, including secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities and debt financings. He also has experience with asset-based commercial loan transactions, working capital facilities, mergers and acquisitions, contract preparation and negotiation, and other banking and financial arrangements.
