New Orleans

Trade secret team attorneys Tom Hubert, Joe Lavigne, P.J. Kee, Michael Foley, and Jason Culotta obtained a preliminary injunction for firm client Total Safety US, Inc. An employee abruptly resigned during a period of transition following Total Safety’s strategic corporate acquisition of Airgas On-Site Safety Services, Inc. The legal team conducted a forensic investigation that revealed the former employee misappropriated valuable trade secrets just before resigning to work for a competitor. Within a week, the legal team completed an investigation, filed suit in the Southern District of Texas, and obtained a preliminary injunction prompting further forensic examinations of the former employee’s current work computers.
