Jim Kearns, special counsel in the Maritime Practice Group, served as a panelist during the 2024 Equipment Management Conference & Exhibition hosted by the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association on March 12, 2024. The panel, “Current Trends in the Jones Act / Inland Marine / Marine Construction Markets,” discussed current trends in the Jones Act, inland marine, and marine construction markets including recent changes that have opened the Capital Construction Fund program to owners and operators of vessels on the US inland waterways and some of the benefits that come with these changes.
