Sage Knapp, an associate in the Litigation Practice Group and member of the bankruptcy & restructuring team, was elected vice president of the Houston/Southeast Texas Chapter of the Fulbright Association. The Fulbright Association is a non-profit organization that hosts programs and events for alumni and visiting students of the Fulbright Program, an educational and cultural exchange program that provides opportunities for students, scholars, and professionals to study, teach, and conduct research across more than 160 countries. Sage completed her Fulbright grant from 2019–2020 in Luang Prabang, Laos, where she taught university-level English courses and engaged in public diplomacy. On August 20, 2026, Jones Walker hosted the Houston/Southeast Texas Chapter of the Fulbright Association board of directors’ retreat at its Houston office.
