Andy Lee, a partner and head of the firm's privacy and data security team, served as a panelist during the Greater New Orleans Port Safety Council (GNOPSC) Harbor Safety Committee's Marine Industry Day 2023, in New Orleans. The "Cybersecurity and the Maritime Transportation System" panel, which included a US Coast Guard cybersecurity specialist and other industry cyber professionals, discussed current gaps in the cybersecurity preparedness of the marine transportation sector and offered guidance on how to improve protection measures. Marc Hebert, a partner on the Maritime Industry Team, served as moderator for the panel.
