Lafayette, La.—Jones Walker is pleased to announce that partner Ian A. Macdonald was elected Chairman of the Our Lady of Lourdes Foundation Board for 2011. The Lourdes Foundation is an affiliate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center designed to assist Our Lady of Lourdes in reaching out to the community to fulfill its service mission. Mr. Macdonald served four years on various committees and last year was Vice-Chair of the Our Lady of Lourdes Foundation Board and Chair of the Development Committee. 

Mr. Macdonald is a partner in the Lafayette office of Jones Walker. He concentrates his practice in the areas of general litigation, including insurance defense, health care, and labor & employment matters. He represents national insurance companies, national retailers, oil and gas companies and construction companies. During his extensive career, he has tried more than 250 cases, both jury and non-jury, and has argued in front of the Louisiana Supreme Court on numerous occasions.
