Asher Friend and Adam Matasar, partners on the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team in the New Orleans office, participated in a M&A Panel hosted by Tulane Business Law Society on April 8, 2026, at Tulane University. During the panel, Asher and Adam discussed their roles in the M&A process; varying approaches to negotiating M&A deals depending on posture, context, and other variables; and the practical considerations for achieving successful outcomes for the transaction parties. They were joined on the panel by Michael Rosendahl, managing director and head of M&A for PCE Companies, and collectively discussed insights into what transactional attorneys and bankers look for in junior associates, as well as the qualities that enhance the lifecycle of a transaction for both their colleagues and clients.
