Steve Casey, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group in the Birmingham office, spoke on a panel at the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel’s annual meeting in Sun Valley, Idaho. The topic of the discussion was “PFAS Litigation: ‘What’s in the Water?’” The panel focused on the increase in water and land contamination litigation and personal injury suits allegedly related to the industrial use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, commonly referred to as PFAS.
