Lauren Tarver, an associate in the Corporate Practice Group and a member on the public finance team, spoke during the Louisiana Municipal Association's 85th Annual Conference on July 28, 2022. Lauren presented alongside DeDe Riggins, Municipal Advisor at Government Consultants and Mikki Mathews, Vice President of Piper Sandler. Her portion of the presentation, "Bond Deal Basics" discussed the role of Bond Counsel within a municipal bond transaction with members from the Louisiana Municipal Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials.
