NEW ORLEANS and BATON ROUGE, Apr. 4, 2011—Jones Walker is pleased to announce that R. Keith Colvin, Susan M. Tyler and Jeffrey P. Good have joined the firm. Mr. Colvin and Ms. Tyler have joined as special counsel, and Mr. Good has joined as an associate. All three attorneys will practice in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in the New Orleans office. All three joined the firm from McGlinchey Stafford.

R. Keith Colvin practices in the area of commercial real estate, representing developers, lenders and owners in large developments and real estate projects. His projects include industrial plants, office buildings, gaming facilities, timberland, shopping centers and malls, apartment and condominium complexes and recreational facilities. He is a 1979 graduate of the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he received his juris doctor degree. He received his Bachelor of Science from the Louisiana State University in 1976. Mr. Colvin is Treasurer of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and is Chairman of the Title Insurance Committee of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Mr. Colvin has been recognized as one of the top fifty lawyers in Louisiana by Louisiana Super Lawyers and has been recognized as a leading real estate lawyer by Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA. He is a licensed title insurance agent and is licensed to practice in Louisiana.

Susan M. Tyler has significant experience in banking, commercial finance, and real estate with an emphasis in commercial lending. She has represented lenders and business clients in construction financing, new market and historic tax credit projects, and large developments. Ms. Tyler is a 1986 graduate of Tulane Law School, where she received her juris doctor degree. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Georgetown University in 1981. She is a member of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. Ms. Tyler is a licensed title insurance agent and a Certified Public Accountant. She is licensed to practice in Florida, Louisiana and Texas and is listed in Louisiana Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America.

Jeffrey P. Goodearned his juris doctor degree from Tulane University Law School in 2010 where he was awarded the Tulane 34 Award, honoring him as one of 34 outstanding undergraduate and graduate students who distinguish themselves during their collegiate life at Tulane. He received a master’s degree in business administration from Tulane and was awarded the Tulane Association Business Alumni Award. Mr. Good has practiced real estate and general business and tax law since leaving Tulane.
