Kelly Duncan and Tommy Shepherd, partners and co-leaders of the Gaming Industry Team, along with Dan McGinn, special counsel on the Gaming Industry Team, participated in the IMGL Master Classes during the National Council of Legislators From Gaming States (NCLGS) Winter Meeting, December 12–15, 2024, in New Orleans. Kelly moderated and Tommy served as a panelist for "Navigating Gaming Regulatory Challenges in Mergers & Acquisitions and the Introduction of Private Equity," which discussed the complex regulatory landscape during mergers and acquisitions and the rising influence of private equity in the gaming sector. Dan's panel presentation "Uncovering Risk: The Vital Role of Due Diligence in iGaming" covered case studies highlighting the challenges that arise during due diligence investigations in the iGaming industry.
