Bill Joyce is special counsel in the Litigation Practice Group. He focuses on litigation related to commercial aviation, general aviation, and maintenance, repair, and overall (MRO) issues.

Bill also advises and counsels clients in connection with product liability matters for aircraft engine and component manufacturers, operators, and maintenance facilities.

Bill is a commercial pilot, helicopter and fixed-wing, and instrument rated. He has handled numerous bench and jury trials in state and federal courts in Louisiana, Texas, and Florida. He joined Jones Walker in 1988 after retiring from the US Navy, where he was a naval aviator and surface warfare officer.
