Sands

Position
Associate
Office
Atlanta

Bradley Sands is an associate on the Construction Team. He focuses on construction litigation and contract drafting, review, and negotiation.

Brad has successfully represented owners, general contractors, and major subcontractors alike in a wide range of projects within the construction industry. Brad provides legal advice to clients throughout the entire life cycle of a project, from initial contract drafting to final arbitration award. Brad has maintained his professional engineering license and draws from his diverse construction experience when providing legal counsel.

Prior to law school, Brad worked as a civil engineer in the railroad industry. Brad had integral leadership roles as a project manager and engineer-of-record for many large-scale intermodal and oil and gas facilities. His engineering and construction work extended from Florida to New York, and he was an active member of various committees for American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

While in law school, Brad served as articles editor for the Colorado Technology Law Journal; worked for a Tier 1 internet service provider and a venture capital firm; and interned with the Denver office of the US Patent and Trademark Office.
