Laura D'Angelo, a partner in the Lexington office, moderated and Dan McGinn, special counsel in the Tallahassee office, participated in the "What Does Online Wagering on Horse Racing Have in Common with Kalshi and the Tribes?" panel, comparing and contrasting recent developments in litigation around prediction markets and online horse racing betting and how it may impact state regulators. The panelists examined recent court decisions involving online wagering platforms and explored whether these cases could shift regulatory power away from states and reshape how gaming is overseen nationwide.
