Marc C. Hebert, a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in the New Orleans office, was appointed to the Louisiana District Export Council (LDEC), a group of experienced international traders appointed directly by the US Secretary of Commerce. The mission of the LDEC is to help the US Commercial Service/New Orleans US Export Assistance Center (USEAC) identify potential exports and act as mentors for new exporters. Marc previously served on the International Trade Advisory Committee 14, Customs and Trade Facilitation, appointed by US Secretary of Commerce and US Trade Representative and joins other export professionals who local companies on export issues and international market development.
