Andy Lee is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, a member of the corporate compliance and white collar defense group, and co-chair of the firm’s privacy and data security team. He maintains an active national trial and appellate practice focused on business and commercial disputes, corporate and securities litigation, and fiduciary and officer liability litigation.

Andy represents private equity and other financial investors and their portfolio companies in a variety of matters. Some of his recent matters include representing public companies involved in disputes with former officers and directors, clients on both sides of trade secrets theft actions, and companies involved in data breach claims and regulatory responses. Andy has also represented individual investors in shareholder derivative and fiduciary breach claims, corporations in computer software performance arbitrations, municipalities and landowners in land-use and constitutional takings actions, banks in director and officer liability actions, and many other clients in a broad range of commercial disputes. He also advises several charter school networks on a range of regulated activities and in litigation.

Andy has been quoted in Bloomberg, The New York Times, and several other news and public forums on the topic of cyber security and he regularly advises clients regarding data privacy and cybersecurity, records retention policies, electronic discovery, cybersecurity, and related issues. He helps develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure defensible, repeatable, and efficient processes and programs related to the security of sensitive corporate data, recovery after cyber intrusions, litigation hold procedures, and electronic discovery of data in legal proceedings and internal investigations.

Andy is active in legal education and attorney associations. In addition to speaking frequently at CLE events on subjects ranging from professionalism to legal technology and trial and appellate practice, he has served on the adjunct faculty of Tulane University Law School, where he has taught trial skills.

Andy also actively handles pro bono matters on the firm's behalf, including the successful habeas corpus representation of a former Louisiana Death Row inmate.
